Progress

Each competency moves through four stages. Be honest — this is most useful when it reflects what is actually true today, not what you hope is true.

Stages

1. I recognise it. — I've seen it and know roughly what it is.
2. I can use it. — I can make it work, maybe with help.
3. I understand why it works. — I could explain the mechanism.
4. I can teach it. — I could show someone else and answer their questions.
